Lions are coming along
When I posted yesterday, I thought I wasn't making good progress on my lions, but I sat out on the office balcony and stitched, and realized I am making good progress, it just doesn't feel like it's going quickly. I think it's just the idea that I'm on a deadline here that has me stressed. It won't be done by the end of the month, I know that, I'm just pushing to get as much done as quick as I can.
Thank you for your comments about my issue yesterday. Lisa made a good point that maybe the apology was just a need to move on. I think you hit the nail on the head. And, as I pondered on my way home last night, emailing him made me let whatever last little bit of hurt I had go. And I need that; you can't move forward if you're looking back.

Hey girl...sounds like you did the right thing regarding how to handle the ex-guy's apology. It also sounds like you've got a real keeper with SO. Isn't that a great feeling? :)
Your lions are looking great! You really are making good progress. Deadlines are the pits...but hang in there -- you'll get it done, even if it's just a wee bit late.
Your Lions are coming along beautifully. It is funny, when you don't see progress close up, sometimes you just need to step away from it to see the details (at least that happened when I looked at my challenge project: Hockey Rivalry). Anyway, I am glad that something I said yesterday help to put your mind at ease. You take care and have a nice weekend!
What an absolutely gorgeous piece. It looks so real. Keep going - one stitch at a time and you'll be close to your deadline
I can see why it would be hard to 'feel' the progress on a piece like that. So many shades of neutral. But I bet when you did the eye, you could really start to feel some satisfaction. That's a very handsome cat and some nice stitching.
Lions is looking wonderful! I know them projects that just don't feel like they are moving along.
I think you've made great progress Rachel :o)
The lions look really nice.
Apparently, there are 2 types of MRSA. I've been told we all have the MRSA bacteria (like in our nasal passages and such). Usually hospitals do a nasal swab and once they find out there's MRSA, then the patient is quarantined and out come the masks and such -- to keep other patients safe because their immune systems aren't up to par. The "serious" MRSA is when it's in the blood. Then the persona has to be really careful when around others. Sorry to post this here... Not sure if I have an email addry for you.
