Woo hoo. I think I am back on track and that feels great.
I just have 5 more little charts to muddle my way through! Woo hoo!
I've decided I'm spending next Friday making ornaments. I will have the time, I need to do it. I have no excuses. I must have at least 10 ornaments all stitched and ready to go. I found all my supplies. I bought invisible thread. At least get done what I can get done--I know I'll end up at Joann's at some point next weekend, looking for fabric, but it would be a lot better to come home and just have to put the back on and sew the cording on than to keep staring at the finishes, waiting for the finishing fairy to come to my sewing room--I been wishing and she ain't come yet, LOL. Maybe if I leave her scissors and needles?

I have been waiting for the finishing fairy for YEARS!!!! She hasn't shown up at my house yet, but I keep hoping!
I would LOVE to come help with your finishing, especially if you pay with scissors! *mwah hahahaha*
You'll do great and I can't wait to see photos. :)
Hi,
whenever you have time can you show me a picture of your finish pumpkin.
I'm with you there. I've got lots of ornaments x-stitched...but they all have to be finished now. I think I'll be doing mine this weekend as well.
I'm going to try a "finishing Friday," too, Rachel. I am so far behind! Wouldn't it be nice to live next door to Joann's? I'm sure I would get a lot more finishes in if I had all of the trims, fabrics, etc. on hand :)
Can not wait to see those finished ornies!!
I have a bad feeling the Finishing Fairy is just a myth. Or else she doesn't like my stitchy offerings...
I am inclined to agree with Daffycat ... there is no Finishing Fairy just as there is no Housework Fairy, Laundry Fairy, Paperwork Fairy, or Yardwork Fairy. So very sad but that's the universe for you.
I've tried it and it doesn't work. She either doesn't exist or else she skips my house ;o)
