Take a minute

Read this.

This is why I craft. And why I cherish the 1970s colors of my grandmother's ornaments.

I just hope, someday, Someone Small looks at the ornaments I made and cherishs them because they were things I touched. And made with love.

Yes, that is awesome. Sometimes we crafters need to be reminded that our creations are appreciated even though we may not hear accolades all of the time. I'm sure that your daughter be in awe of what you do, and may someday enjoy creating lovely things just as you do.

Wonderful article! Thanks for sharing!

I do my thing and you do yours. I am not in this world to live up to your expectations, and you are not in this world to live up to mine. You are you and I am I, and if by chance we find each other, then it is beautiful. If not, it can’t be helped--Frederick Perls
